Description:

This medium sized , glazed in "Chun plum" and "Textured turquoise", ceramic pet drinking fountain with a lilly spout, glazed in "satin white", filters continuously moving water to keep it much fresher than standing bowl water. The pet can drink out of the lid or lick water directly out of the streaming water.
Our fountains have tree filters. The first filter is an easy to clean stainless steel mesh (placed in the backflow opening) that catches hair, food, etc, preventing the pump from clogging. The second filter is a foam filter, behind the pump's inlet water adjuster. For the third filter, you have your choice of housing for the Drinkwell 360 filter and one cartridge or Ebi’s refillable Bio Filter with one charcoal fill. The Drinkwell is easier since you just pop one cartridge out and another in; the Bio Filter is much more economical since you fill it with course grade aquarium charcoal and if you buy a gallon size at ca. $20 online plus ca. $9 shipping, you can refill the filter for several years. This second and third filter catches the finer particles and are well hidden in the bowl, easy to reach for you but not the pet - and simple to change. The fountain is also equipped with a quiet, safe low-voltage pump and a variable transformer that allows you to adjust the water speed.
We also offer the *Forever Filter* or "Ebi's Bio Filter". These are reusable filters. When it's time to change the filter, simply empty and rinse the canister, add fresh activated carbon, and return it to the fountain.
Our fountains come with different pump options:
- our standard pump (included): a low voltage submersible 55 g/h DC pump with mini integral transformer (only about the power of 2 to 4 D-cells is going from your power socket to the fountain, so even if your pet were to chew through the cable, he/she would not be hurt),
- our standard pump with a battery pack (4 x AA or 4 x D-cells),
Unlike plastic pet fountains that develop cracks, this drinking fountain is made of durable, nonporous dinnerware-safe glazed stoneware. Clay and glazes are certified non-toxic and made in the USA. Ceramic resists bacteria, commonly found on porous plastic surfaces. The fountain has just 4 parts - bowl, lid, filter and pump -, enabling simple, thorough cleaning.
